Mario Johnston began tattooing in Bermuda in 2003 under Joe
Mathias of Smokin' Joe's Tattoo. In 2006 he moved to the United States with his wife Katrina, where he was offered a position at Lambadi City Tattoo. Over the years Mario has met and been tattooed by many artists from across the globe who have influenced his work. His subject matters range from American Traditional to South Pacific tribal. Although versed in many styles, Mario's most requested tattoos are generally brightly colored pieces rich with contrasts and dramatic light sources. Mario keeps a busy schedule tattooing in Cincinnati, Ohio, traveling to shows across the country or doing guest spots in Canada, most often at Cory Ferguson's Good Point Tattoo & Piercing.
